Our Mission
01
Through health programs, education, and personal ministry, we serve our community with compassion and purpose. Each effort is a step toward restoring lives to the harmony God intended. “Society is composed of families, and is what the heads of families make it. Out of the heart are “the issues of life”; and the heart of the community, of the church, and of the nation is the household. The well-being of society, the success of the church, the prosperity of the nation, depend upon home influences.”
Serving the Community
02
Across the United States, chronic health problems are steadily increasing, affecting millions of lives and families. At The School of Eden, we respond to this growing crisis by helping people restore balance to the body, mind, and spirit through practical, biblical lifestyle principles. We use the acronym NEWSTART, which stands for Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in God, as a simple yet powerful guide to natural healing founded on God’s design for health.
Healing by Healthy Living
03
”And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” 2 Timothy 2:2.
We instruct others to become teachers in all matters regarding our Body, Mind, and Soul. “And have put on the new man, which renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him”
Train to Become Teachers
The School of Eden began its first ministry event near Sierra Vista, Arizona, by conducting a Health Expo that included blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, height and weight checks, peak-flow meter testing, the Harvard Step Test (to measure physical fitness levels), full-body massages, health age assessments, and personal health consultations. All of these services were offered free of charge, thanks to the dedication of over 30 willing volunteers. Since then, we have expanded our outreach to include Cooking and Health Classes, Bible Studies, Literature Evangelism, and the operation of our very own In-home Lifestyle Center, where guests can experience practical health reform. Recognizing that Christ spent more time healing than preaching, we have chosen to follow His example of compassionate ministry.
